Day 1 – Coney Weston to Great Cressingham

Started at the Swan Inn @ Coney Weston in heavy morning dew and thick mist… was a 2.5 mile walk to the start of the trek… passing through woodland next to the military firing range lands.
Listened to the F1 Grand Prix in Turkey with wetter conditions than me (thankfully)… tiring after 17miles I was looking for somewhere to camp and stumbled across a sign for the Old Windmill pub @ Great Cressingham.
After a quick phone call they said they’d let me camp so I slowly made my way off trail to enjoy a pint and an evening meal
