South Downs Way – Day 4

Truleigh Hill to Southease (21 miles)

This morning I was starting to feel a bit fitter, so took it more leisurely today, knowing I wouldn’t struggle towards the end of the day.

The views along todays route were just breath-taking all day, in all directions. 2 significant incidents to note: 1) I‘d climb to the highest point in East Sussex, ‘Ditchling Beacon’ (248m) crossing off another ‘county high point’ 2) I‘d pass from ’the West’ into ‘the East’, as I’d also crossed the meridian
